Bring in the New Year with a sneak peek into what’s in store for the Masterpiece Theater, a gala New Year’s event being held on February 9 at the new venue — the Tricia O’Malley Theatre.
“As a resident of Central Florida for more than a quarter century, it’s our pleasure to share our winter event with all of you,” says event producer Jani Weber-Ackerman. “It is important that you experience the brilliance of the new venue, including the state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.”
The Masterpiece Theater will celebrate the new year, and it will be a grand occasion indeed. A perfect occasion to reflect on the year that is passing and look forward to what the New Year will bring.
“We love celebrating the year in our beloved neighborhood of Turtle Creek,” says Weber-Ackerman. “This year, we are looking forward to a very special guest — rock singer Gary Wright! He will sing selections from ‘A Christmas Story.’ His powerful voice will fill the halls of the Tricia O’Malley Theatre!”
The event starts at 6 p.m. and is open to the public. Tickets are available at the Carnegie Corner for $20 for adults and $10 for children. There will also be raffles, silent auction and more.
“The nonprofit organization is partnering with the Turtle Creek Carnegie Conservancy to make this event possible,” says Weber-Ackerman. “In addition, we are asking for support of the event by individual donors.”
